Michael B. Jordan is a rising star in Hollywood. His range and versatility in the roles he chooses are very memorable. At the tender age of 28, Jordan has given his peers notice that he’s serious about his craft and that he intends to be one of the brightest shining stars for years to come.

Jordan was born in Santa Ana, CA to Donna and Michael B. Jordan Sr. on February 9, 1997. He has two siblings Jamila and Khalid Jordan. Jordan attended high school in Newark Arts High School in Newark, New Jersey where his mother is employed.

His professional acting career began in 1999 when he appeared briefly in episodes of The Cosby Show and The Sopranos. In 2002, Jordan began to gain attention from casting directors when he played a small but pivotal role as Wallace in the first season of HBO’s critically acclaimed show The Wire. In 2003, he joined the cast of All My Children where he played the character Reggie Porter until June of 2006. Between 2006-2008 Jordan played several obscure characters that challenged his acting ability but it was the  character he portrayed in 2009 on the NBC show Friday Night Lights that really put him on the map. He played quarterback Vince Howard for two seasons until the show ended in 2011.

After that the roles began to pour in. Between 2012-2014 Jordan starred in such memorable films as Red Tails (2012), Chronicle (2012), Fruitvale Station (2013), and That Awkward Moment (2014). Most recently, in 2015, Jordan starred in the Marvel movie The Fantastic Four.
