Naomie Harris was born on September 6, 1976 in Islington, London. She is a very well known actress with many films in her filmography. Harris’ parents both emigrated to the United Kingdom but separated before Harris was born. She was raised by her mother and has a relationship with her father.

Harris grew up in a council flat in Finsbury Park with her mother and two younger half-siblings. She attended St. Marylebone School in London before attending Woodhouse College as a sixth-form student. She graduated from Pembroke College, Cambridge, in 1998 with a degree in Social and Political Sciences. Harris trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.

In 1987, Harris started her acting career at the age of nine appearing in the television series Simon and the Witch. In 1992, she had a leading role in the hit science fiction series The Tomorrow People. In 2002, she starred in Danny Boyle’s post-apocalyptic film 28 Days Later. She has appeared in the Pirates of the Caribbean sequels, co-starred in the James Bond film Skyfall, and the critically acclaimed film Moonlight which she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. In 2019, she is the starring lead in the film Black and Blue.

Harris is currently in talks to star along with Tom Hardy and Woody Harrelson in Venom 2 due to be released in 2020.
