No Justice

If it isn't one thing it's another.
Can't go up for going down.
As the old mother said,
"I'm almost leveled to the ground."

Here's a problem.
There's a problem.
Can Trump or Clinton solve them?
When the TV comes on.
Breaking News is on.
Another black soul is lost.
So who keeps paying the cost?
And when you figure that out tell me why we kill people.
Who kills people to show that killing people is wrong?

Ain't no justice for the brothers.
They're supposed to "protect & serve".
We're supposed to "stand together as a people".
They say we're all created equal.
But it ain't nothing about us that's equal.
Why do we have to live in fear?
They fear "The Black Man".
Yet we fear those in blue.

Where's the Peace?
Where's the Love?
Sooner or later we're going to need a sign from above.
Ain't no justice for the brothers.

1971 Marvin Gaye;
We've got to find a way to bring some loving here today
because sooner or later it might just be too late.

So will it stop?
Will justice be served?
As of right now,
Ain't no justice for the brothers.
