I believe that his legacy will always be remembered within the Alcorn community for being firmly dedicated to the University and improving its infrastructure.

He made an impact on the institution by increasing its student enrollment which will always be remembered.

President Rankins is indeed a great man. No words can fully describe the work that he did in his tenure as president. His impact will always be felt. I have only been at Alcorn for one year but I am already inspired and determined by this great man and I hope to reach and surpass his level of success in my life.

I think that his legacy will be epic. Not only was he a fundraiser for the institution but he increased the enrollment as well. I want the future generations of Alcornites to look at this campus and realize that President Rankins had a part in its success.

As an incoming Freshman, I did not know him very well. I’ve never really seen him around campus except when I first got here for Freshman orientation.
