Talking With No Voice

0

I know this feeling all too well.

I stumble and fall as the world begins to turn too much.

Falling into an abyss of melancholy and happened circumstance.

It’s an all too familiar touch.

My nose fills with a scent that reminds me of a long-lost companion.

Like a cool breeze blowing in, words find their way to me.

Words grab me by the hand and together we flee.

Running through fields of agony and despair.

We try to navigate through this barren wasteland.

Our minds collide and together we lay there.

We talk of our hopes, dreams and fears.

It’s a moment of apocalyptic rhapsody when I realize that I’m with someone who loves me.

Words are there, when people fail.
