Tick-Tock

0

We are told that time waits for no man,

That we need to reach for opportunities

And take them by the hand.

Tick-Tock.

There are dreams out there to pursue,

And let’s also not forget, reality awaits.

No one can live your life the way you want, except for you.

Tick-Tock.

Don’t worry about what people may say,

Because people are as cold as ice and they will judge.

Who’s to say it won’t all be worth it, at the end of the day?

Tick-Tock.

Those kids playing in the street,

Or the ones always in the books,

They understand that they have goals to meet.

Tick-Tock.

When will you finally realize,

Time is steadily slipping away.

And you are allowing it to, right in front of your own eyes.

Tick-Tock.

Soon you will no longer have a chance,

No more time to discover and reach your full potential,

Because you watched it all fly away, right out of the palm of your hand.

Tick-Tock.

Tick-Tock

Tick-Tock

Tick-Tock

But what will you do when the clock finally stops?
