Her sun kissed skin refuses
to be ignored.

This kind of strength cannot be
inherited only earned.

Her body mirrors the mother land without intention.
The same roadmap of hills and
valleys grace her body
where no plateaus can be found.

She’s envied by all, loved by few
yet fears none.

She’s never talked about in books
because we never knew her story.

Never the first one to be saved
but she’s always our haven.

Her essence is the untainted
liquid gold that adorns the halls of royals.

She lives deep within all of us
but you shall never know her name.
