International Coffee Hour

The weekly International Coffee Hour will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in the Office of Global Programs on the Alcorn State University Lorman campus.

The United Nations Lecture Series

Guest speaker Robert Skinner, who is the director of The United Nations Information Centre in Washington, D.C., will be in the J. D. Boyd Library, Medgar Evers Auditorium on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm to discuss The United Nations.

University College First and Second Year Experience Workshop / Academic Recovery Workshop (How to Improve Your GPA)

On Thursday, October 19, 2017 there will be a workshop to assist students in the academic areas they may struggle in at the J. D. Boyd Medgar Wiley Evers Library Auditorium from 3:00 pm to 3:50 pm.

Women in Agriculture Workshop Series

On Saturday, October 21, 2017 there will be a workshop held at 1320 Seven Springs Rd. in Raymond, Mississippi from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. This workshop will cover different agricultural topics such as livestock production, crop production, farm safety, soil quality, etc.

Career and Counsel Session

On Thursday, October 26, 2017 on the 1st floor in the Eunice Powell Building Multipurpose Room,  there will be a career and counsel session for all students majoring in Child Development and Nutrition and Dietetics. The sessions will be held from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
