On Thursday, September 17, 2015 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm the Alcorn State University Extension Program will hold a Website Development Workshop at the Walthall County  Public Library in Tylertown, Mississippi.

CMS Basics/Refresher

On Thursday, September 17, 2015 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the Walter Washington Administration Building on the 3rd floor in the training lab there will be a workshop designed for new content managers who are responsible for maintaining department web pages within the Alcorn website, or for users who want to refresh their skillset or explore new features.

This workshop is repeated monthly.

Getting to Know TRACDAT

On Monday, September 21, 2015 at 1:00 pm in the Walter Washington Administration Building on the 2nd floor in the Education Computer Lab there will be a workshop to introduce participants to all major features and functions of TRACDAT, the University’s Assessment Software System.

 

On September 24, 2015 the Alcorn State University Extension Research Farm and Technology Transfer Center located at 294 Grainger Dorsey Road in Mount Bayou, Mississippi will hold its annual Fall Vegetables Field Day.  Registration will be from 8:00 am to 9:00 am and the Field Day will be from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Angelica Brown is a Graduating Senior Broadcast/Mass Communications major. In her spare time she enjoys shopping, and traveling. After graduation she plans to pursue a career in acting. She will be a staff writer for The Campus Chronicle for the 2016-2017 school year.
