The main reason I would celebrate Black History Month is because I’m blessed that I didn’t have to go through segregation and I can appreciate what my forefathers went through to pave the way for me.

I think it is very important because in the past African Americans went through so much for future generations to have freedom and rights that they were not able to have back then. We (Today’s generation) are so blessed.
