WPRL 91.7 FM Announces New DJs

They’re on the airwaves and they’re on the beat. It’s the sound of the newest batch of Disc Jockeys, products of the Mass Communications Department. For the Spring 2019 semester, 14 students are broadcasting their talents on Alcorn State University’s (ASU) radio station, WPRL 91.7 FM. They’ll feature diverse music from multiple genres, enthusiastic interviews with various guests, information on local events and news. This, all for the entertainment of ASU and its surrounding areas.

Listeners can tune in to WPRL 91.7 FM or www.wprl.org. The radio shows will feature music from genres such as Gospel, Pop, Reggae, Hip-Hop, Rock and R&B. Each show will be one hour long and will be featured Tuesday through Thursday from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm and Friday at 3:00 pm.
