The Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated on the “BLUtiful” campus of Alcorn State University has dominated ‘The Yard’ with another week. The chapter held its annual Blue and White Week, titled “PURRe Domination,” on March 20, 2016 through March 25, 2016.

The week kicked off at 10 am on Sunday with a church celebration at Raining Manna Christian Center in Fayette, Mississippi.

Monday’s festivities included a yard show that was held on the Lorman campus plaza of Alcorn State and the start of a three day Instagram photo challenge. Contestants in the challenge were to take a picture with a member of Zeta Chapter each day with the appropriate hashtag for that day. They were also required to hashtag #ZCBWWPhotoChallenge and tag the Chapter’s Instagram page, @the_zetachapter. A female and male winner were determined by the most combined number of likes from the three days. Winners received a free ticket to the probate on Thursday.

The yard show featured strolls from several Greek lettered organizations such as the Iota Beta Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Band Fraternity, Theta Gamma Chapter of Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Sorority, the Gamma Rho (Jackson State) and Gamma Phi (Alcorn State) Chapters of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and the Lambda Theta Chapter (Jackson State) of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
